Monthly Meeting of the SHNA

The next monthly meeting of the Sam Hughes Neighborhood Association will be held February 18, 2020 at 7:00 PM at the Himmel Park Library.

Park Tucson

The City of Tucson's Parking Manager

Department of Transportation parking and parking enforcement division, permits, signs, and enforcement. It is responsible for on-street parking and a number of parking garages and lots in the Downtown area. The Division also supervises both resident and non-resident parking permit programs throughout the community.

Public Transportation

City of Tucson's transportation department operates the Bus sytem, called Suntran, the special needs transport, for those with special needs, called Sun Van.

Pima County Wastewater Management

They operate the sewer system in the metropolitan Tucson area, including the City of Tucson.

Trash Pickup / Landfills

City of Tucson - For City residents & business. Environmental Services provides residential and commercial refuse collection for City residents and businesses. Billing for refuse collection is included in your monthly water bill. Call 791-3171.

Pima County - Refuse collection outside of "City limits" (Pima County) is handled by Commercial Services (private contractors). Call 791-3171.

Brush and Bulky (twice a year)
